Chapter Philanthropy and Service

Service to others is an integral part of our chapter’s mission and the life of every Zeta. First and foremost, we support the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation and it's mission and partnerships.  Our chapter has been a Major Donor to the ZTA Foundation for over 25 consecutive years since our charter in 1987.  Also since 1987, we have sponsored the Ann Arbor Area Alumnae ZTA Foundation Scholarship to support Michigan collegians in their academic careers.   And we participate in ZTA Foundation Partnership events such as:

We also support the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity.  We strengthen our Michigan collegiate chapters with volunteers including chapter advisors and housing corporation members, with joint events, and with support of their philanthropic endeavors.  Our members have served and continue to serve the Fraternity at the National Level, including District and Province Presidents.  We have been proud to host Michigan's Zeta Day, a statewide convention for fraternity members, on a regular basis. But that is just the beginning...

We strive to make a difference in the Ann Arbor area with the local organizations that touch our hearts. We regularly make and donate fleece blankets to the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center.  We also Adopt a Family each year to help bring holiday joy to a family in need.  Whether it’s an event centered on making a meal at a homeless shelter or a social event where everyone brings a canned good for a local food bank, our chapter offers our members the opportunity to give back to our community in ways big and small throughout the year.
